This has an ideal capability of reproducing in a wide format. It's maximum print width is 11" and it uses a 7 color UltraChrome Epson Ink system. It is capable of printing a double sided print without smears. It is also capable of printing from a roll of paper for the larger prints, or the standard sized photo papers. Although not better economically, the rolled paper is best for printing posters and banners and is a nice added feature.
The PictureStation by Sony, Model DPP-FP30
The only one on our top three best photo printer list that is compact. The PictureStation has a resolution of 300 dpi and uses dye-sublimination which increases the color integrity. Pictures will printer free of smudges and in a nice vivid color. It is compact and designed to be simple; plug in and print. The loading and editing is taken care of on your own computer. This compact photo printer will produce a borderless 4x6 inch print in around 90 seconds.
